BUILDING NEW LEADERS
Building New Leaders gives your emerging leaders an opportunity to come together and learn about themselves and other leaders around them. The students will have a chance to learn about values as the foundation of leadership, take a look at qualities of leaders and explore leadership concepts and skills in an interactive way. Participants will tackle some of the common challenges that leaders face and develop their own definition of leadership. This workshop isn’t about the organizations on your campus; it is about the students who are part of them. Take the time to develop your students into the best leaders they can possibly be before they are in charge. Invest in the potential passion and strength that your emerging leaders can provide your community. If you are looking for a way to impact leaders in an innovative and interactive way, this is the ideal workshop for you.

ELEPHANTS & ONIONS
Elephants and Onions is a starting point for the difficult conversations that surround social justice and social change. As you peel back the layers of identities, roots of judgment, back stories, patterns of assumptions and behaviors and the widely varying values sets that each individual holds dear, it can be uncomfortable. A few tears might be shed – kind of like peeling an onion. Get it? Elephants in the room. Peeling the onion. Elephants & Onions. This workshop was written by CAMPUSPEAK Elephants & Onions facilitators, and it includes the most thought-provoking small and large group activities. Not only will participants dig deeper into social justice and diversity, but they will also gain skills related to effective communication and engaging in critical thinking. Participants will be involved in a highly engaging experience that will leave everyone feeling empowered to create a stronger, safer, more nurturing community for all walks of life.

In Strong Signals, your students will evaluate their personal and organizational online behavior as well as their own digital identity. They will develop creative strategies to represent themselves and promote their organizations in social media. They will develop crisis management skills through simulated online social media meltdowns. Each participant gets a workbook (how non-digital, right?) and a post assessment. Woven into the curriculum are messages about character development, leadership, public relations and organization marketing and individual mental health and wellness. Students engage with social media during the workshop, analyzing trends and observing patterns of behavior. Students have grown weary of warnings about what they should NOT do with social media. Strong Signals focuses on what students CAN do with the awesome power at their fingertips.

FINDING YOUR WHY
Help find your purpose within your campus community by remembering why you got involved in the first place. The best way to ensure your organization leaves a lasting legacy is to start with the root of why your organization exists. The Finding Your Why Interactive Workshop is a way for members of organizations to get back to the why of their involvement, why of their organization and to focus on being intentional with their actions. This workshop can be done for one organization or can bring together leaders from many different groups across campus. Participants will find the value that their organization, along with each organization on campus, brings to the table while examining the relevancy of each group. They will also examine the role stakeholders play in their organization and how stakeholder relations can advance the purpose of their group while developing actionable goals to move their community forward.
