I was very fortunate to have been recently asked to co-author an article based on an educational session my best friend, Devin Hall and I presented at the 2015 National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) National Convention.
The session, now article titled, "Time Flies: Making the Most of Graduate School" is geared toward helping graduate students understand the need to be well-rounded and intentional about their graduate school experience. Since it is only two years, it is important to remember that you have to diversify yourself to not only be the more likely to land a full time job, but to better yourself as a person and professional. The session covers thinks like internship and practicum experiences - where to find them and how to get them, creating a personal and professional growth plan and the need to create a network of people who care and want to help you succeed.
You can read more about what Devin and I had to share during the session in the article, published in the September 2015. You can access it on issu.
